Proposed State Aid to Libraries Fiscal Year 2025

The Governor's proposed state budget (see Executive Summary. p.19) for Fiscal Year 2025 provides the following state aid to libraries. Level funding has resulted in 24.18% apportioned to each municipality rather than the law's recommended 25% of eligible funds expended in FY2023 as described in RIGL 29-6-2(a); maintenance of effort is 100% as set forth in RIGL 29-6-3.
