Five-Year Plan 2023-2027 OLIS LSTA Plan The Library Board of Rhode Island approved the OLIS Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Five-Year Plan on June 13, 2022. The plan was submitted to the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) State Programs Office in June, 2022 and accepted on September 14, 2022. Five-Year State Plan for LSTA Funding 2023-2027 Framework for Comprehensive Strategic Plan 2023 OLIS Strategic Plan Development About the LSTA Plan The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) requires that the Office of Library and Information Services submit a plan to set broad strategic direction for the use of Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) federal funds, to inform Rhode Island libraries of its direction, and to meet statutory requirements. A Five Year Plan (for the federal fiscal years 2023-27) was submitted to the IMLS and approved by Director Crosby Kemper in September 2022. Director Kemper wrote that the plan: "offers an intentional approach to reaching and impacting [libraries, communities, and partners] through library services. It is an excellent framework for the future . . ."
