Digitization & Preservation

OLIS supports several digitization and preservation activities in order to increase access to unique historic and cultural materials. OLIS has established the Digital Library of Rhode Island (D-LORI) which serves as a single point of access to the digital collections of Rhode Island libraries, museums, and cultural heritage organizations. In addition to D-LORI, OLIS provides tools and resources to assist with disaster preparedness and planning in public libraries.
