Using Udemy

To access free training via Udemy, you must have a valid Rhode Island library card.

  2. The card is valid for one year from the date of issue; cards must be renewed annually.
  3. State employees who are non-RI residents may be issued an OLIS Library Card for work purposes only and to access AskRI.org databases for work purposes.
  4. OLIS Cards for non-RI residents may not be issued or renewed at public libraries.
  5. Cardholders agree to adhere to all terms and conditions of Ocean State Libraries in their application for an OLIS Library Card.
  6. OLIS reserves the right to suspend cardholder privileges of any individual found in violation of these terms and conditions.
  7. OLIS Library Cards will be suspended when the holder departs state service.

To apply for a card, please complete the library card application and submit it to the OLIS LORI Team, through interoffice mail, or stop by OLIS on the 2nd floor at the Department of Administration, 1 Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02908. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
