Promotes cooperation and assistance in the enforcement of immigration laws and establish penalties for failure to further the active enforcement of immigration laws.

Act making appropriations for the state for fiscal year 2018.

Prevents any state or municipal agency's telecommunications or Internet contractor from collecting and disseminating the personal information of customers.

Excludes weekends and state holidays from the calculation of the forty-eight (48) hour public notice requirement, and requires all public bodies to keep minutes of open meetings and file their minutes with the secretary of state.

Increases the state's share to support local public library services in distressed communities, by an amount equal to the amount paid by the distressed city or town into the ocean state libraries (OSL) annual assessment charges.

Requires the department of education to consider incorporating media literacy education in the basic education program.

Increases state library aid to distressed communities by an amount equal to the OSL annual assessment charges.

Makes a number of technical amendments to the General Laws of Rhode Island, including Title 29, Libraries, and would reenact the Title 29 in its entirety.
