Due to the 43-day federal government shutdown in October and November, NLS will not produce

The reports for 2025 LORI Certification, FY2025 Interlibrary Loan Statistics and Fall 2025 Delivery Item Count are now available.

LORI delivery is cancelled on Thursday, Nov 27 and Friday, Nov 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Please plan accordingly.

The Patron Engagement Section will resume all regularly scheduled online programs in December.

Zoom links and descriptions of the programs will be provided in advance of each session.

On November 12, Congress passed, and the President signed into law, a full-year appropriations bill to fund the legislative branch, including the Library of Congress, for FY 2026.

As of November 13, 2025, NLS has returned to normal operations.

There will be no delivery on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The Fall Delivery Item Count webform is now open. All LORI libraries are required to participate.
