Environmental Scan for Five Year Plan

[March 22, 2022] The Office of Library and Information Services is seeking input from libraries statewide as we conduct an environmental scan of the current and future needs of libraries as part of the process of developing our new Five-Year State Plan for the use of federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funding for federal fiscal years 2023-2027. In addition, we will be seeking feedback on current OLIS services and recommendations for future services. This work will be completed by a team of outside consultants. The resulting report on current and future needs for library services in Rhode Island will be used as the foundation for OLIS' Five-Year Plan for 2023-2027 and published on our website in late April.

We invite staff and trustees from all types of libraries (academic, public, school, health sciences, and special) to participate in the development of OLIS' Five-Year Plan.
