NLS, National Library Services Moves It’s been 57 years since NLS—then known as the Library of Congress’s Division for the Blind and Physically Handicapped—moved from Capitol Hill to a former local government building at 1291 Taylor Street in far Northwest Washington. Now, NLS is back home. Last year, it was decided that it would move to the third floor of the Library’s John Adams Building. Read more about the Adams Building. Calendars are available in two sizes: The larger wall calendar is print/braille, and the smaller pocket-sized calendar is braille only. To obtain calendars, patrons must contact the Talking Books Library at (401)574-9310 or email talking.books@olis.ri.gov. Once patrons are subscribed, they will receive a calendar each year unless they stop their subscription.
