Phase I Public Library Service Status

Most public libraries across the state are now offering curbside/contactless pick up of pre-ordered library materials as the state moved into Phase I of its reopening plan on May 9. The ability of libraries to provide this service is limited by staffing, available books, and directives in their community. The extent of services will vary depending on the library; please visit the library’s website or call them for more information.
All public libraries provide access to downloadable ebooks through Ocean State Libraries eZone.
Curbside / Contactless Pickup
Most libraries in Rhode Island are now offering curbside pickup of materials. Check the library’s web site for more information about days and times for curbside pickup and other services offered. Library books must be pre-ordered; walk-in service is not available currently.
