Summary
Nearly 2000 Rhode Islanders logged over 24,000 collective days of reading this February!

For the month of February, libraries across the state challenged Rhode Islanders to read every day in the Statewide Winter Reading Challenge, and the people stepped up! Nearly 2000 people registered at their local library to join the challenge, and together logged over 24,000 days (that's over 66 years of reading!). WOW!

The average participant logged 12 reading days throughout the month, and 471 readers read, at least a little bit, every single day in February.

Thank you to all of our participating libraries, and our partners Ocean State Libraries and Beanstack for supporting reading in Rhode Island all year long.
