Event Schedule

10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Hope on the Horizon: ACDN-01 for Stargardt Disease
Our day will begin with an enlightening presentation by Ascidian Therapeutics [eml-pusa01.app.blackbaud.net], a leader in genetic research. Ascidian will provide an overview of the drug development process including the ins and outs of clinical trials, then explain how their RNA exon editing approach will impact those living with Stargardt and lastly, provide information on their STELLAR clinical trial for ABCA4-related retinopathies, including Stargardt.

11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch & Networking
Take this opportunity to enjoy a complimentary lunch and connect with fellow attendees. Whether you’re looking to share your experiences, seek advice, or simply meet others on a similar journey, this is a time for building community and fostering connections.

12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Hands-On Workshops & Breakout Sessions
Following lunch, the event will continue with interactive, hands-on workshops tailored to your interests and needs. The Carroll Center for the Blind will lead these sessions, focusing on practical skills and knowledge to empower your journey through vision loss. The sessions will be led by experienced professionals from The Carroll Center, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise.
