The topic for the Thursday, January 9, Many Faces of BARD program will be Open Forum: An Hour of Answers to Your Questions from the Experts.

There will not be a presentation, just a full hour of answers to your questions about anything related to BARD.

Established through the National Library for the Blind Endowment.

This paid internship offers legally blind individuals the opportunity to work at NLS in areas that support services for the blind, including collections

The December program Smart Speaking to The Smart Speaker will be held on Thursday, December 19. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. eastern time with a brief presentation

The rest of the hour will be spent answering questions regarding the presentation or any other questions about using the My Talking Book Skill on the sm

The topic for the Thursday, December 12, 2024, Many Faces of BARD program will be Advanced Searching: A Deep Dive into the NLS Catalog.

The program will begin with a presentation by Dominick Spinelli, Head of the Collections Development Section at NLS.
