OSCIL Lunch and Learn Workshop, Feb. 26

Summary
Learn about Americans with Disabilities Act regulations pertaining to service animals. The 211 Van will also be present to assist with a variety of resource needs.

Outlining the titles of the ADA, they will provide the definition of a service animal, identify what is the difference between service animals and emotional support animals, what questions may be asked for entry of a service animal as a public accommodation, along with, answering any other questions. Guiding Eyes for the Blind will share information about their organization and what goes into their puppy raising program. There will also be a segment explaining what it is like to go through their program to receive a guide dog.
